Car Color Trivia

Posted on November 9, 2021 by Rudy Loendorf

The color of car a driver chooses reflects their personality as well as perhaps a common color. However the selection of color in a car can be a lot more important aswell.

According to a report by researchers at the University of Auckland in New Zealand silver cars are 50 percent less inclined to be engaged in a collision producing a serious injury in comparison with white cars.

The least safe colors are brown, black, and green in accordance with Reuters.

While, yellow, gray, red and blue cars ranked in the centre range.

According to optometrists, red may be the most challenging to see color.

Red may be the most controversial of colors. Many drivers declare that by driving a red car they get stopped less for speeding and also have less accidents. However, red car drivers complain that since they drive red cars they're stopped more regularly for speeding and so are moving targets for accidents.

White is in fact easy and simple color to look after. 1 / 2 of the white car drivers declare that white cars don't look dirty as quick as colored cars, as the spouse complain that they need to wash the automobile more often merely to keep them looking clean.

Black, red & most other dark colors absorb more ultraviolet rays than light colored cars so that they are more vunerable to sun damage.

At night white may be the most visible and red sometimes appears as black.

Owners of both red and black cars say the inside warms up faster than in other colored cars. That is because of the absorption of heat rays from sunlight. Based on season and locale this can be good or not good.

Accident statistics show that gray cars will be the most invisible in foggy conditions.

Lime yellow is most beneficial seen on cloudy days and in snowy winter conditions.

No matter what color the automobile is, keeping an automobile in excellent working order and keeping it clean will be the most significant for safety concerns.
